Return policy
While we hope that your order is everything you hoped for, should you wish to send it back to us, rest assured we have done our utmost to make this a process that is simple and straightforward. If for some reason your items do not work out, we accept returns within 14 days of receiving your order. We will offer store credit or a refund to the original form of payment for goods that are unused and in original condition. If the item appears used, House Barn has the right to refuse a return or exchange. Some items like lamp shades cannot be returned if they have been unwrapped. Initial shipping costs are non-refundable, and return shipping fees are the responsibility of the customer. All returns must be sent back to us in the same way that you received them, in their original packaging to prevent any damages in transit.
Please note, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges for bespoke made and sale items.

Our online returns portal is our step towards sustainability and being kinder to the planet by eradicating the multiple pieces of paper in every package that are often not ever used.

Our system processes the refund instantly and you will receive an email notification - please allow 5-10 days for your bank to show the funds. This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.
If you receive a faulty, or damaged goods please email us a photograph and request either a refund or replacement within 5 days of receiving the item(s).

At present, we are not able to offer free returns and so the standard postage fee will be deducted from your refund.
For furniture returns, we send our courier back to your home address, for which a cost will be incurred off non faulty items.
And for returns outside of Ireland, please raise an online return request to notify our care team who shall then be in touch with advice on how best to return it to us.
