DELIVERY POLICY

We always endeavour to dispatch your order within 48 hours, subject to stock availability, naturally.

For furniture, mirrors, some lighting and some other non-stock items there will be longer delivery time, please refer to
the product page for approximate lead times.

Our standard service costs €6 per and shall be with you in just 2-3 working days – sooner wherever we can.

Delivery of large fragile items such as mirrors costs €30 and for items such as furniture that require assembly costs €60. This service takes between 10-14 working days unless otherwise notified on the product page. This might be different in the instance of pre-orders or pieces that are handmade to order (such as our upholstery collection). Here, the lead time will be listed on the product page. The price differs as it is a two-person team who shall carefully position the item/s in a room of your choice and dispose of all packaging, should you wish.

Please make sure that the delivery address you have entered is correct as we cannot accept responsibility if this has been provided incorrectly.

Should you require immediate delivery on any of our items please contact us and we shall do our utmost to get the goods
to you as soon as is feasibly possible.

Please note that we cannot accept liability for any delivery instructions you may issue to our delivery partners – such as to leave a parcel with a neighbour or in an outbuilding.

*Shipping Costs may vary depending on size and weight of your parcel. We reserve the right to request further payment if applicable.

At House Barn, we try our best to do our bit to help the environment. Our goods are delivered safely using recyclable materials, whether it’s shredded cardboard or packing peanuts which are made from scratch and are 100% biodegradable as they dissolve under water.

DAMAGED OR FAULTY ITEMS

We do our best to ensure that our products are carefully wrapped to make sure they arrive safely with you, but we do have to rely on third party companies to deliver so breakages unfortunately can happen from time to time.

Please make sure you thoroughly check your items for any damage at the point of delivery and let the courier know if you are not happy with the quality as you’ll be asked to sign that the delivery has arrived with you in perfect condition.

In the unusual event that your item arrives damaged, please note this on the courier’s documents, and let both us and the courier know. Please email us on hello@housebarn.ie. Please include photos of the damaged or faulty items and we’ll be in touch to resolve this for you as a priority.

If you only realise that your item is damaged after delivery, please email our care team on hello@housebarn.ie along with photos of the damaged or faulty items, As soon as we receive your email we will get to work right away and let you know the next steps for a replacement or refund to be arranged.

Please do not return damaged or faulty items without contacting us first as we will be unable to refund any postage costs.
