The practical latex backing helps keep the rug in place, meaning no additional underlay is required.

Care guide

Vacuum regularly using a strong brush-suction vacuum cleaner to remove dirt trapped between the fibres. Beater-bar vacuum cleaners are not recommended, as they may damage the weave.

Sisal is highly absorbent, so avoid using excessive water when cleaning. If the rug becomes wet, allow it to dry completely before placing it back on the floor to help prevent mould or mildew.

Dry Cleaning Your Sisal Rug
Sprinkle baking soda or cornflour evenly over the rug
Leave for approximately one hour to absorb dirt and odours
Shake away any excess powder
Vacuum using an upholstery brush attachment.
